The Alarms history section is a searchable, paginated log of all alarm incidents recorded by the system. Each alarm groups the suspicious events that triggered it and shows who acknowledged it.
For live alarm management (the floating alarm window, Arm/Disarm controls), see the Overall Layout & Global Controls page. For configuring which events trigger alarms per device, see Devices — Device Alarms tab.

Each alarm is shown as a collapsible accordion entry:

Clicking a triggering event row opens the Event Detail Panel for that specific event (the same panel used in History — Events).
When an alarm is actively firing and has not been minimised, a draggable, resizable floating window appears over the entire UI. It cannot be blocked by other dialogs.
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Do Not Disturb toggle | Silences the alarm sound while the window stays visible |
| Dismiss | Hides the window; alarm remains active and the notification badge persists |
| Acknowledge | Marks the alarm as acknowledged; clears the active alarm state |
Each triggering event is shown in an expandable accordion. Expanding an event loads associated camera feeds in a twin view showing:
The Arm/Disarm button in the app bar controls whether “trigger-when-armed” alarm configurations are active across all monitored devices.
| State | Behaviour on Click |
|---|---|
| Devices are armed | Disarm all |
| No devices armed | Arm all |
| Armed with bypassed devices | Opens a status popover; arm/disarm still available |
The button shows counts of armed vs total devices.
