This guide explains how to manually trigger an alarm in AwareVue.

Steps

1. Navigate to a Layout containing an armed device.
2. Open the device callout by clicking on the device overlay.
3. If armed, the alarm can be triggered manually through the alarm controls in the callout toolbar.

Alarms can also be triggered automatically by automation rules. See Automation Rules for details on event-driven alarm triggers.
