How To: Trigger a Notification

Notifications in AwareVue are sent automatically by Automation Rules when configured events occur on devices or in the system.

Set Up a Notification Automation

  1. Go to Settings → Automations.
  2. Click + to add a new automation rule.
  3. Configure the Trigger — select the event that should fire the notification (e.g. alarm-triggered, door-access).
  4. In the Actions section, add a Send Notification action and configure the recipients and message.
  5. Optionally, configure Run If conditions to filter when the notification fires.
  6. Save the rule.

The notification will be sent to the configured recipients the next time the trigger event occurs.
